Fleet Foxes.

The Fleet Foxes are a Seattle based indie/folk band.

“We aim to be adventurous and true to ourselves and to enjoy our time together—the music we make is a reflection of our instincts. To me, the most enjoyable thing in the world is to sing harmony with people, so we do that a bunch. We love acoustic guitars, electric guitars, big rolling tom drums, mandolins, dulcimers, bass guitars, bass pedals, organs, pianos, kotos, and most of all harmony and melody. We’ve succeeded for ourselves if we’ve made a song where every instrument is doing something interesting and melodic. ”

Tila Tequila

Tila Tequila has been mentioned before here on MSbands.com… quite a few times actually. I suppose you could say we have quite a fancy for her. Just look at that picture… come on? Yeah… thought so. Tila has been featured on countless magazines within the past two years thanks mainly to her MySpace fame. She has over 3 million MySpace friends with millions of plays on her MySpace music player. She is currently busting up the local Los Angeles club scene with her hardcore music.

The Official 2008 Sasquatch Lineup has been announced!!
More than likely a good 15 bands will be added, and I would say 2-3 bands may cancel… hopefully M.I.A doesn’t bail out this year…

This year has a pretty intense lineup, featuring many bands in which have played the Sasquatch festival in the past.
Headlining bands:
The Cure, R.E.M, Death Cab, The Flaming Lips UFO show

[This show has been refered to one of the best shows you will see in your lifetime, and The Flaming Lips are voted number 16 on The Rolling Stones’ 100 bands you must see before you die].

I am hoping a few more are announced before March 8th, when tickets go on sale.

Last year a few bands were added last minute, such as Patrick Wolf, The Long Winters… That was also the day after M.I.A cancelled… so they had to do something.

Now I also hear Mars Volta is a band they are trying to get, to pair up with The Flaming Lips on the main stage… I suppose we are just going to have to find out, eh?

Other rumors which are looking dimmer include Radiohead, Flogging Molly, R.E.M & Tech N9ne.
