November 16th, 2007Travis Barker is Dead?
According to about 15 different MySpace bulletins in the past 10 minutes I have read, it seems as if Travis Barker (Blink-182 & Plus 44 drummer) is dead. He is one of the greatest drummers in history.
Here is the Bulletin
Turn Speakers up!!!!….Last night on November 13th famous drummer Travis Barker was found dead in his garage. “He was found in his garage coming home from a dinner/award ceremony .”said reporter Tom Burry.
Investigators are not sure of how Former +44 drummer yet died or they are not telling the public the full truth yet.
Travis’s wifes exact words “everyone one in the world has someone special who has died in there life. Maybe it hasnt happen yet but please pray for Travis and my family. i would appericate it and who ever did this to Travis is a sick! man”
So if you have a heart please repost this and take a minute and pray for this great drummer known as Travis barker.
And if you dont repost this no one will kill you and no one will hurt you and no you wont have bad luck for seven years. You just not posting this shows you have no heart.

I really doubt he’s dead. First of all in his wife’s “statement” theres a wrong form of their used, and that wouldn’t be the type of statement anyone would release. There is no news on any celebrity websites, and this kind of hoax has happened before with other celebrities. But if he is, it’s deinitely sad.

Check the wiki page, they’re usually VERY fast on updating about this stuff. I don’t see him dead on that page.
Also check news sites, CNN, MSNBC, etc. No report there also, so I think it’s all a lie. Could be wrong though, so just keep looking at CREDIBLE websites. Myspace isn’t worth its weight in manure.

I’m going to go ahead and say it’s not true. There are quite a few flaws in this story, suggesting that someone took what little knowledge they had of him and made a fake bulletin. Taking into account the fact that Travis is no longer married, the whole quote from his wife is inaccurate. Plus, the spelling, grammar and punctuation had have serious flaws. Had this been taking from a reputable source, minor kinks like that would have been removed.
